Project plan on track & on schedule.
Seems I'm still not accustomed to just how fast time flies by in this stage of life. Pretty interesting. For the past two months, I've been in a project in the Dominican Republic (@ Pellerano & Herrera, www.phlaw.com) which just recently ended. Afterwards, as the Software Architect for my own company, I spent a week in Jamaica negotiating a new project that will span upwards of 15 countries. So I guess, that part of life is moving ok. That takes care of point #3, 4, and 5 of my list.
So, ya, that means I created my own company (I have one partner). I guess I'll write a blog entry on why I called it what I did, as well as what does the logo mean sometime soon. What I can say right now is that we're officially a Microsoft partner. That's a pretty big deal, and I'll write about that sometime soon as well.
I guess I'm just saying what I'm up to right now, since I don't feel like writing down all the reasons behind the decisions I've been taking these past few months. Next on the list: item #1 get/attend law school. I have just been admitted to the University of Puerto Rico School of Law. I was fortunate enough to be in the 97th and 99th percentile for my entrance examinations (LSAT and EXADEP respectively). That means I can go through the last leg of the plan I set in motion close to 15 years ago. That's what amazes me the most, "pero eso son otros $20".
So, as you can see, a lot has been going on in the professional side of me. Which also includes all the civic stuff I get done as the Secretary for the Institute of Computer Engineers. Now comes the tough part, the personal part. I guess right now, I am slightly cautious and mildly ambivalent towards getting involved in anything that can sidetrack all I've set in motion, I guess that part's pretty obvious to everyone. Yet, I find myself finding ways to include that person into my everyday affairs. Or re-prioritizing certain events to be able to spend time with her. Its pretty neat. The juggling act has been extremely difficult to master over the years, but master it I have. It causes me no stress to switch from regional/national affairs to mundane things such as looking into each others eyes (where are you ral??).
Regardless, "todo bajo control...under control". Veremos que pasa.
